Day 1: Tarangire National Park
We will pick you up from your hotel early in the morning (around 8:30 AM) so you can start your safari to Tarangire National Park. The park covers an area of 2,850 square kilometers and it offers some unique and diverse landscapes. The permanent presence of water in the region makes it a good choice, especially during the dry season (June - October, December - February), as plenty of wild animals migrate here. The park is home to big baobab trees, big mammals, and especially elephants, as well as other carnivores. You will have lunch inside the park and an afternoon game drive. Evening transfer to the lodge.
Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, we will drive you to Lake Manyara National Park for a full-day game drive. Lake Manyara National Park offers some breathtaking scenery. It is famous for its lush acacia forest, giant figs, mahogany trees, and its large population of baboons and blue monkeys. You will be able to spot giraffes, elephants, impalas, buffaloes, and many hippos. Some unique facts about this park include the climbing lions, flamingos on the lake shore, Ground Hornbills, and the Crested Eagles. You will have lunch inside the park, and we will take you back to your lodge in the evening.
Day 3: Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, we will take you to Serengeti National Park through the Ngorongoro area. Serengeti National Park is the place where every tourist would like to be as it offers a unique experience. Serengeti means “The land of endless plains”. Covering an area of 14,760 square kilometers, with short grass areas and woodland areas. It is the land of the nomadic Massai tribe, and it is known for its wildlife density and the annual Great Migration, an event that every tourist wishes to witness. Lunch is served inside the park and there is an afternoon game drive. We will take you back to your lodge in the evening.
Day 4: Serengeti National Park
Full game drive in Serengeti National Park and overnight there. This day is fully customized depending on your wishes. We will take you back to your lodge in the evening.
Day 5: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro National Park
Early morning game drive in central Serengeti National Park and in the afternoon transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. One of UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites since 1979 Ngorongoro covers 8,200 sq km and it is part and parcel of the broader Serengeti ecosystem. It is often called the 8th wonder of the world since it has it all: stunning landscapes, wildlife density, and a mankind community (Massai) co-existing in perfect harmony with the Wildlife. The Ngorongoro’s crater caldera is intact and it hosts the very rare Black Rhino. It’s also the largest concentration of wildlife per square km in the world. Words alone cannot express the beauty of Ngorongoro, you have to see for yourself what this majestic place is all about. We are convinced that you will agree, it deserves the title of eighth wonder of the world! Overnight to the crater reef at the lodge.
Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater
After an early morning breakfast at 7:00 am we start transfer to Ngorongoro crater and descending down to the crater floor. Morning and afternoon game drive inside the crater floor, with lunch inside the crater floor and transfer to Lake Eyasiat the evening we begin our return to stay in lodge.
Day 7: Hadzabe Tribe And Lake Eyasi
Very early in the morning, before breakfast, join the Hadzabe tribe, one of the last true nomadic tribes of Africa, in a fascinating hunting or fruit gathering session. This is something absolutely unique and out of the beaten track which is a great cultural experience and authentic while providing incredible opportunities for world class photography. After staying a while with the tribe, visit the beautiful Lake Eyasi, a seasonal shallow salt lake on the floor of the Great Rift Valley at the base of the Serengeti Plateau. In the afternoon, return to Arusha.
