Getting There
Iringa Town is accessible by bus from Dar es Salaam, with travel times ranging between 8 to 12 hours. We recommend arriving in Iringa the day before your tour.
7:00 AM – Pickup from Your Hotel or Lodge
Your guide will pick you up from your accommodation in Iringa and begin the drive to Ruaha National Park.
Arrival and Park Entry

Lake Duluti Day Trip – Canoeing & Hiking : $150 PER PERSON
Lake Duluti is an old crater that became an incredibly deep lake. It is said to be more than 700 meters (2296.588 feet) deep, but this information has not been confirmed. The Lake is beautifully located between green lush forests and lends itself to a lot of activities. From Lake Duluti, you will have a great view of Mount Meru and sometimes of Mount Kilimanjaro. It is a paradise for reptiles and birds. Monitor lizards can be seen sunbathing on the edge of the Lake and a great variety of birds have made their homes there. Occasionally, monkeys can be seen swinging from the treetops.
Materuni Waterfalls and Coffee Tour: $100 PER PERSON
This amazing experience will allow you to explore the Materuni waterfall and Kilimanjaro coffee tour. You will have the opportunity to swim and taste organic coffee while viewing the Giant Mount Kilimanjaro.
Day tour to visit Oldonyo Sambu Maasai Village: $100 PER PERSON
We will drive you to this traditional Maasai village 40 kilometers (24.855 miles) from Arusha City Center. Many visitors to Tanzania consider this visit to be the greatest highlight of their trip. During the tour, you will be guided by a Maasai Chief, who will show you the village, and explain to you how the Maasai people live, their habits, how they cook, how they take care of their livestock, what and how they learn, dance, etc. You will be able to watch the village women perform local traditional dances. The whole experience provides fantastic photo opportunities.
Arusha Horse Riding: $150 PER PERSON
Arusha Horse Riding Tour takes place from the stables located at a place known as Usa River (Maji Ya Chai) on Dolly Estate (a forty-minute drive from Arusha City Center or about one-hour drive from the town of Moshi).
From the stables, you have a magnificent view of Mount Meru, with Mount Kilimanjaro emerging in the North on a clear day. Our Arusha Horseback Riding Day Tour takes place on Dolly Estate and whether you are a complete beginner or an advanced rider, there is an opportunity and experience for everyone.
Regularly seen on Dolly estate is one of the most elegant mammals found in Tanzania, the Gerenuk. We offer morning and afternoon rides (two-hour rides). The morning rides depart at 9:00 AM and the afternoon rides depart at 3:30 PM.
We are flexible with time, but these are the best hours of the day to be out in the bush on horseback. In case you would like to combine the morning ride with lunch at the Polo Club afterward, please let us know and we will book lunch for you or your group in advance.
The afternoon ride can be combined with a nice cold sundowner at the Club. If interested, please let us know in advance so that we can plan accordingly.
For lunch or sundowners, you will ride on horseback to the Polo Club and finish the ride there. Thereafter, we will pick you up directly from the Club and transfer you back to your hotel in Arusha.
